Nothing Box 10:53
Nothing Box Clouds float suspended in my nothing box Six smooth sides reflecting endlessly out to infinity Life is calm and so quiet here in my nothing box The walls are thick and warm and they hold me in and shelter me Nothing gets to me Light can't escape and neither do my thoughts They just bounce around They don't make any sound They sink down to the bottom of the sea I never get lonely here in my nothing box Though I sometimes feel there could be so much more then it just slips away I drift out in the emptiness and I lose myself Hearing my own breathing my own heartbeat race there's no way out and I don't care No I don't care There's no world out there... Until I think of you Then I know what I should do But it's so hard to leave But it can't work from inside Thought I could leave when I wanted to It all depends on you When I close my eyes That is when I see your face I can see you speaking though the words fall away Everything is fading now Was it ever real My memories of the outside Wash away like rain I reach out to you Time has no meaning in my nothing box I could stay forever as the world moves on I don't eat I don't sleep I don't touch I can't feel anything Until I hear your voice and I come back to you

One Heart 06:23
One Heart Pained life is ebbing long toil is ceasing one more step Now it becomes clear Came the morning sun And the pain was fled At last she could run And a memory of long ago was swiftly returned As the garden trail Unwound ahead At last she could see The singer of her heart's song waiting for her Even then He smiled And the music filled her silent spaces Welling up and wild Sent the darkness of her soul Fleeing far All the bitterness gone All the sorrow has sped And taken the dread So far from her mind That the years were unkind As the singer revealed Her heart's desires Even then He smiled And the music filled her silent spaces Welling up and wild Sent the darkness of her soul Fleeing far He could sing For He knew every note of her Just then she realized That this beauty was meant only for her Just for her! So she danced down the trails as the day passed Who has heard, the wind that stirred Through branches of a tree Whose very name is Life? Here He has walked In splendor through the ages Came the twilight dreams of an evening fair As the coolness crept through the scented air And her heart was glad and free from care For He knew her wish and her every prayer, Here, one heart is whole at last Now, one heart, once torn, recast Here, one heart may sing at last Now, one heart forgets the past

Salvation Station It's the same old movie on my TV that's showing again Mommy's insane Her baby's dead But the cradle still rocks its head It's the funniest thing It's something to see Over and over again On my TV The man in a white collar is on the screen Acting for his big dollar Channel Three is all I need Preacher says he'll set me free On my TV I found salvation on the station There's salvation sold on that station As the cameras roll The satellite feeds my brain And I hide in that ghostly light It's my oh so lonely life In a soap opera today Come tomorrow there'll be a different character to play I'm losing grip in the rat race In a cop chase I'm the thief committing crime Well it's on the prime-time On the news line Just like Channel Three A millionaire ministry Mass producing faith like a factory Won't you set me free From my TV I found salvation on the station Found salvation on the station There's salvation sold on that station As the cameras roll The satellite feeds my brain And I hide in that ghostly light It's my lonely life It feels like I'm living in a sequel I'm living for the salvation station Yes, I'm living in a sequel It never ends

Dear Daddy 10:31
Dear Daddy With your memory swimming 'round my head Though Daddy you're dead and gone I'll sing you this song Of all I should have said "Let me tell you, Jonny That you ain't worth nothing without money And all the time you've been away First turned to months and now years You oughta by now have some kinda career" Oh but Father, gladly Dear Daddy I'll Stay far away from you How can I grow up tall Don't mean to be cruel When you always make me feel But Daddy I'm more than a fool Inches small? I was no more than a baby When you told me, "stop that cryin' It's making me angry And one day, well just maybe When you grow up you'll learn to shut up And fake a smile like your dad Whenever you are sad" But Father, sadly Dear Daddy I'll stay far away from you No it's not true Don't mean to be cruel Because you see this son's love No, Dear Daddy Has always surrounded you When the whole world seemed so unkind When the words in the storybook no longer rhymed And when the sun would refuse to shine I'd run and hide in that secret place in my mind Wipe the tears off my face And there I'd find that for a moment But for a moment The shadow of your presence seemed to lift and fade away When the whole world seemed so unkind Father didn't you notice the rat race? Were you never aware that the fear was written all over your face? I guess you never knew your story was a blank page But most of all dear Daddy Did you ever notice me? Oh Father I never meant to be cruel But farther And farther away I stayed from you Though I've always loved you I was the one to walk out that door But Father your heart departed Father your heart departed Long, long before Oh Father didn't you notice the rat race? Were you never aware that the fear was written all over your face? I guess you never knew your story was a blank page But most of all, dear Daddy Yes most of all, dear Daddy Did you ever notice me? So I'll hold to the happier times The endless summer days at the beach As you lifted me over the waves and held me so high It was then that I could believe I believed I could fly high! Safe with my dad by my side Wish you could know me now We'd be great friends

To Someone 18:21
To Someone I'm hanging on Though the road's been long With every breath I have sought you And I live to love thee I live to die free I'm like a searchlight upon the sea Searching faithfully When the world was new I dreamt of green fields Sky of blue Then youth slipped by and I forgot My one alibi And then As I grew up in school Blindly learning all their rules I saw the small boy and the fat girl take The ridicule Do you feel the system's misplace you? Has their system erased you? If so then be Like the searchlight upon the sea Great unknown of my life Finally I've uncovered you It is Love alone the world is seeking Only Love can repay us For the hardships we must endure Dark night of my past Dissolve in the dawn Of the early morning sun Shining strong Moving through me Something is stirring An impulse to act To care and be cared for As I believe So all will come true You'll belong to me And I'll I'll belong to you So with the coming of the dawn Rise forth and sing your soul song And then you'll feel you can carry on And that you truly belong Somewhere and to someone Don't you know you belong Somewhere and to someone? To the only one So with the coming of the dawn Rise forth and sing your soul song And then you'll feel you can carry on And that you truly belong Somewhere and to someone Don't you know you belong Somewhere and to someone? To the only one So if you find yourself Kept up on someone else's shelf Believe in yourself Be strong and sing your song I'm hanging on Though the road's been long With every breath I have sought you And I live to love thee I live to die free Some say that God's not talking But with people running everywhere Who is actually listening? Does anyone care? Tell me are we really that unaware Street smart, shopping cart rollers In the city beggars picking food out of the trash Bathing in gutters Life goes by when you forget Your one alibi Your only true ally Who is actually listening? Does anyone care? Tell me are we really that unaware Life hits hard when we forget The one! If you play their fool and they take you Even if those most cruel try to pull you down The silent witness knows of your struggle Always remember how He yearns for your love Then you'll feel you can carry on And offering a song to bring A sign of hope A prayer to sing With angelic grace To ascend to a heavenly place Mystery of life Finally I found 'Tis all for Love It's Love alone the world's seeking And only Love can repay All the triumphs Every tear we cry The dreams and joys Our final goodbyes At long last I know the secret of it all

She, A Lonely Tower (Narrator) So far from Heaven Her heart never free A captive in her own mind And her face bears the frown Of the fears that lock her deep underground And so she, a lonely tower (Woman) With my ear against the wall I swear I can hear the stones cry out For their brothers For their sisters The rocks on the hills surrounding me (Narrator) Behind those tear-stained eyes Her bewildered mind denies Their souls embrace Way up high on a cliff Above a vast sea She, a lonely tower Captive by self design The walls mortared with tears With the dust of all those lost hopeful tears (Man) The Lila of love On the stage of the age Though our hearts never changed Still page after page The script remains the same Upon the moonlit fields of my yearning heart Though I dream My unrelenting soul is searching (Narrator) Once in the shadows of her mind Haunting the halls of memory The ghost of all regretting Legend tells that the sea Holds no memory A distant island she came to be No rest for her was found But there came his voice, a sound Carried on the sea Calling her onward To dare anew And chance the blue once more Now she, a stranded vessel On uncharted shore Yearns for his promise That lies beyond her prison door (Man) Dawning now light between us Appears as the sun (Woman) May I safely walk past the land mines My own thoughts had laid for me (Man) We must believe for our souls Fly as one, catch the sun Homeward we'll climb! (Woman) In the depths of my mind Wherein shadows crept Still haunting me The ghost of all regrets (The Tempter) Behold my beauty I pierce the secret design My nature revealed in Patterns brilliantly aligned Oh, won't you hesitate to fly as one Catch the sun? Circles of mortal fate Lost the sound now Unveiled, no reprise for the glory (Man) A message to endure For the heart that's pure (The Tempter) Lay to waste your faith You're flesh and bone! (Woman) True love's embrace Ever beckoning (Man) Oh my love Hear! I'm calling you! We must believe for our souls To fly as one, catch the sun Dawning light between us And this homeward we climb As the sound is unveiled Our true nature revealed Remember my love, Oh, remember me this hour Lift up your heart A prayer on the wind And never to falter As our life will begin anew God sculpted wings For us to ascend Our love to blossom In His garden unending A perfect love unending

about

(*Note: All tracks are 24/96 hi-res version except track 5, To Someone is 24/44. The 24/96 version for track 5 exceeds the maximum file limit for bandcamp.)

Once again, the production quality is the best you ll hear all year. A must buy and a top 5 album. --Brian Watson, Dutch Progressive Rock Page

Cor Cordium is a real crock of gold in progs 2011 treasure trove irrespective of what influences can be heard in the stunning production. As one friend remarked earlier today, and I shall credit with him this line, It does rather leave other albums stuck on the ground in the hangar. I cannot agree more. --Alison Henderson, Dutch Progressive Rock Page

To sum up Cor Cordium, it is the album that has really won my heart. I would recommend it to any prog rock lover... I do not want to sound pompous here but, as Michael Nolan put it: there are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart...pursue those. --Jonathan Pine, Progressiveears.com
